Linen Underdress, Wide Sleeve Over Tunic and Leather or Trim Belt

This is an early period, simple linen under-dress and linen over-tunic set which was the style for men and women from about the 10th century to the 12th.

This fantastic set includes an under dress, over tunic and leather or trim ring belt so you will be all set for your next event!

The under dress is made from 100% preshrunk linen, in an A-line style with a very full hem, and trim on the cuffs which will match the 100% linen over tunic's trim. Over tunic has 3/4 length, wide drop sleeves and is also made in the A-line style with full, trimmed hem. Black or Burgundy leather ring belt with either a gold or silver ring OR matching linen and trim ring belt is also included to pull the whole outfit together. Perfect for someone starting out in the SCA or someone who has been playing for a long time!

    Awesome Ensemble

Posted by Kristina on Jul 11th 2017

I ordered this set in the bright red linen, and black underdress. Trim was the red Persian trim. I also asked for the sleeve to not be the wide sleeve but a "normal" straight sleeve, which was accommodated. And which I LOVE! It looked really good on when wore to first event this last weekend. Got lots of compliments. The overtunic is a great 3/4 length sleeve and shows enough of the under dress on sleeve and at the hem. I choose to make the overtunic about an inch below knee length. Both flare out when turning around form the gores at the side. I chose to go with the black leather belt and glad that I did as it looks awesome with the set. My only suggestion would be to possibly add trim to the neckline of the overtunic, which I might do when if I order another one in another color, and get a plain underdress. For the price, this is a great value.
